Some vendors covered on our titles are commercial partners of the publisher.
Why we publish this
A reader should never have to work out who a publisher is close to. A commercial relationship exists with some of the vendors we write about, so we state it here rather than leave it to be discovered.
What it does not change
Every product is scored against the same published rubric, with the same criteria and the same weighting. A commercial relationship does not buy a score, a position in a comparison or a favourable line, and it does not keep a weakness off the page. Where our assessment is that a product falls short, we publish that.
Paid placement
We do not present anything paid for as editorial. If a placement is paid, it is labelled as paid, on the page where it appears.
